Established in the year 1988, NICCD has 36 years of development experience. Several ups and downs though it has seen, the development trajectory it has created sums up our perseverance and devotion for community service. This year we have been able to add more feathers to our cap despite several roadblocks and setbacks. NICCD has reached out to more communities in rural and sub-urban areas with its diverse portfolio of projects and activities addressing a range of important issues for the development of the deprived people. We express our heartfelt gratitude towards our partners, supporting agencies and well-wishers for their needful cooperation in realizing the dream of the organization.
National Institute for Community and Child Development (NICCD) is a grassroots level social organization that has been operating since 1988 under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 & Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act having it’s headquarter at Srikrishna Vihar, Gahiragadia, Banki, Cuttack, Odisha. Since its inception it is engaged in community development efforts, taking up various aspects of life and livelihood as its sphere of activities. The workers of this organization form unenthusiastic group having strong belief in the concept of public participation as the key to social development. They have been striving hard for socio-economic development of rural poor and marginalized sections of the community. As NICCD grew up with its experience and acquired knowledge, the outfit gradually expanded in terms of activity as well as locale.
